Privacy information
Review draft: this describes the current app behavior, but it is not a legally reviewed privacy policy. Operator identity and hosting practices still need confirmation.
Browser-local progress
HueFits stores your color selections, wardrobe preferences, owned garments, shopping customizations and saved outfits in localStorage in this browser. There are no HueFits accounts or cloud wardrobe synchronization. Browser clearing, private browsing, storage limits or device loss can remove progress. Export a backup to keep a separate copy.
Exports and sharing
JSON exports can contain clothing notes and the full saved wardrobe. Files are generated in your browser and are not encrypted by HueFits. Keep them private. Palette links deliberately include chosen coloring and color preferences; anyone with the link can view them. Links do not include your closet or notes. Shared previews do not replace your saved palette unless you choose to use them. PNG downloads contain the palette or outfit details shown in the image.
Optional product analytics and ratings
When configured and enabled by the operator, HueFits uses Google Analytics 4 by default to understand visits and feature usage. Google’s analytics script and pseudonymous cookies may load before you interact with the notice. Turn analytics off at any time using Privacy Choices in the footer. An existing opt-out or your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal keeps analytics off. Every HueFits feature works with analytics off.
When active, analytics records actions such as completing a palette, creating a blueprint, adding an owned garment, saving an outfit, opening shopping recommendations or exporting a backup. Optional usefulness ratings record only the palette/blueprint topic and one of three fixed ratings. Exact skin-tone or undertone choices, garment details, notes, full outfits, exported JSON, email addresses, incoming URL query parameters and referrers are not included in these events. Public route names are allowlisted.
Google Analytics uses pseudonymous first-party cookies to estimate active and returning browsers. These are not HueFits accounts or exact counts of individual people. The app does not assign a user ID, add advertising pixels or record sessions. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled by the integration; advertising consent remains denied. Analytics cookie lifetime is configured to 90 days without extension on each visit. Data already sent cannot be recalled by opting out later.
Your privacy choice and whether you answered or dismissed each feedback question are remembered locally, separately from wardrobe backups. Written feedback is not collected by this site; using the contact email shares what you choose to send through your email provider.
Hosting requests and review requirements
Assets and fonts are served by the site. Your browser still makes normal hosting requests, which can expose IP addresses, request URLs and technical headers to the hosting provider. Shared palette settings are query parameters and may appear in ordinary request logs. Active Google Analytics also creates normal network requests to Google. Hosting-level logging, analytics property settings, cookies and retention are separate from the browser-local wardrobe. The operator must review Google’s processing terms and applicable regional consent requirements before publishing this opt-out configuration; some regions require prior opt-in. The application blocks the platform-injected automatic tracker to avoid duplicate product analytics.
Controls and open questions
Use Save & Backup to export or explicitly replace progress. Clearing site data in your browser removes local saves and recovery copies; it does not delete files you downloaded or copies of links you shared. For privacy questions, email contact@huefits.com. The operator’s identity, hosting retention practices and jurisdiction-specific rights process must be confirmed before this becomes a final policy. See the contact information.
